From the Website

From the App

When you use the Sim de la Mode iOS app, we collect the following information:

  • Email address and username (for account creation and login)

  • Profile-related data (e.g., your choices and progress within the game)

  • Sign-in method (email/password or Sign in with Apple)

  • Push notification tokens (used to send app notifications)

  • Device and usage data (collected by Apple and Google Analytics, not directly by us)

All user data is securely stored in Firebase (Firestore & Authentication).

2. How We Use Your Information

 

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Save your progress and preferences within the app

  • Send important push notifications related to app activity

  • Respond to support requests

  • Improve app and website experience (analytics, once implemented)

If you subscribe to updates, we may use your email to share important product news (with your consent).

 

3. Push Notifications

 

We use Firebase to send push notifications. At this time, notifications are sent by default. You can disable them through your device settings.

 

4. In-App Purchases

 

Our iOS app includes in-app purchases. All transactions are securely handled by Apple. We do not process or store your payment information.

 

5. Data Storage and Security

 

All data is securely stored in Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard practices to protect personal data.

  • Transmission is encrypted using SSL

  • Access to user data is limited to authorized personnel only

 

6. Third-Party Services

 

We use the following third-party services:

  • Wix Analytics and Google Analytics (website)

  • Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, push notifications)

  • Apple Sign In (iOS login option)

 

These services may collect:

  • Usage and engagement data

  • IP address and general location

  • Analytics data on the website is retained for up to 26 months

  • App data is retained as long as your account is active or as required for business and legal purposes

  • Deleted accounts are permanently removed from Firebase

 

9. Children's Privacy

 

Sim de la Mode is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
